Museum Announces Free Admission Day for Local Students

The museum will host a special Free Student Day next month, offering free admission to school groups and young visitors from across the community. The event is designed to introduce students to local history through interactive exhibits, guided tours, and hands-on learning activities.

Teachers and educators are encouraged to bring their classes for a day of exploration and discovery. Throughout the day, museum staff and volunteers will lead short programs highlighting important moments from the region’s past and the people who helped shape the community.

“Our goal is to make history accessible and engaging for young learners,” said Executive Director Maggie Reynolds. “Free Student Day gives students the opportunity to step inside the stories of the past and see how history connects to their own lives.”

In addition to exploring the museum’s exhibits, students will have the opportunity to participate in special educational activities designed to spark curiosity about local heritage. The museum hopes the event will inspire a new generation to appreciate and preserve the history of their community.

Schools interested in attending are encouraged to contact the museum in advance to schedule their visit.
